breadth of life

May 4, 2019

This is the last of the three conversations with Vatican Astronomer Br. Guy Consolmagno on his visit to Christchurch earlier in the week.

His first engagement was with the Catholic business community of the region for the Business Network lunch. Later in the afternoon he met with high school and university students and in the evening there was a public lecture with a third “in conversation” session which is available below.

As his conversation partner at each session I was inspired by Br. Guy’s extensive knowledge and experience of science and astronomy, but even more by the beauty and depth of his integration of these fields with his faith and humanity.

I hope you find these reflections as inspiring as I have.
