a week of Easter Sundays

Apr 8, 2012

Easter is the supreme Christian Feast. It is so central for us that the Church gives us a week of Easter Sundays in a row.  The Octave of Easter.

The Gloria is sung at every Mass of these eight days.  Christians greet one another with “He is risen!”   The greeted one replies “He is risen indeed!”  Alleluia!

The liturgies of these days are swimming in “Alleluia!”

Take a moment to deepen your appreciation of this great Easter acclamation at this link.
