Mystery of God

Jul 29, 2015

Here at Food For Faith I often quote the rector of the Mundelein seminary Robert Barron, and every week a link from the Hurunui parish website takes readers to his reflection on the Sunday scriptures. Last week Pope Francis appointed Fr. Barron to be one of the three new auxiliary bishops of Los Angeles, but Bishop-Elect Barron assures us that his work with Word on Fire Ministries will continue.

Also this month Word on Fire announced a new video / audio series of lectures from Bishop-Elect Barron entitled “The Mystery of God,” and (as an encouragement – and enticement) he offers us first twenty minute lecture for free.

He begins the lecture stating “there are many views of God,” but I was distracted by the accompanying image of the view over the beautiful Mundelein University campus where I have been studying in recent weeks.

You can listen to lecture one at this link.
