I bet you’re curious about why I chose this picture today

Nobody wants to be poor so why does Jesus seem to praise poverty

We move together, making space for and keeping pace with others

We know which prayer and which pray-er is more pleasing to God

God wants a world without war. He will free us from this evil

as faith matures we experience intimacy with Jesus as coming home to ourselves

there is no sinner who does not show at least seeds and shoots of sanctity

and sat under my verandah noticing the clouds bringing gentle rain

if I like to be asked, then perhaps God likes to be asked as well?
