silence is golden (Carmelites in ChCh)

Mar 12, 2012

Last night while browsing youtube (which I have not been able to give up for Lent) I came upon some clips of a monastery. The life of these monks was portrayed in a remarkable film which I will share in my next post.

My browsing led me to a wonderful insight into the life of our own Christchurch Carmelites, with an interview on CTV’s ‘Up Close and Personal’ programme.

I thought you might also appreciate a Lenten encouragement in this taste of the beauty of Carmelite life.
