prayer intentions

May 2, 2012

A large number of people have asked us to carry prayer intentions on their behalf. We are happy to do this since this is at the heart of the mission of the pilgrim.

Two years ago, when this pilgrimage failed to make it past Singapore before being turned home by the Icelandic volcano, we were also carrying many intentions. We have these same intentions with us again on this pilgrimage.

I also carry the intentions of every reader of this blog.

If you wish to send us an intention, simply send an email to foodforfaith@me.com.  You can state your prayer intention as specifically or generally as you wish.  God knows the desire that is in your heart.

At every Mass these intentions are placed in an envelope at the foot of the altar.  Yesterday these were placed at the chapel where we celebrated Mass just a few metres from the tomb of Jesus, the place of the resurrection.
