It was a day of great celebration for our Catholic Diocese of Christchurch today with the ordination of three young men as priests of the diocese.

Fathers Do Nguyen, Tien Cao and Thanh Tran arrived in New Zealand 7 1/2 years ago and spent time learning English before applying for admission to seminary for the diocese of Christchurch.

Today they were joined by representatives of their families, parishioners, friends and fellow seminarians for a wonderful diocesan celebration of their ordination.
