Holy Week Retreat

Apr 9, 2017

You might like to join me in considering this week from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday as a week of retreat in daily life.

For a Christian, to retreat is not to run from reality. Instead a Christian retreatant is seeking to engage with the reality that is greater and therefore more real than much of what we get caught up in most days.

I invite you to take this holy week as a time of retreat simply by taking a few moments often during each day, in the midst of your responsibilities and commitments, simply to know that the struggle, suffering and even death in our own lives is now, because of the resurrection of Jesus, the pathway to the life we seek now and eternally.
