One of the many beautiful traditions in our Catholic funeral rites is the celebration of the Month’s Mind Mass, about a month after the death of the one we love.

We continue to  struggle with the tragic death of Fr. Graeme Blackburn on 15 January. Next week we will gather for the Month’s Mind Mass for Graeme. You are all invited.

Our prayers continue that Graeme now shares the fulness of divine life for which he was created, and we continue to pray for his mother Erin and all the family, for his parish and diocesan family, and for his many friends.

Eternal Rest, grant to him O Lord
and let perpetual light shine upon him
May he Rest in Peace.
