on the road

.

This weekend I’m in South Otago for reflections sessions with the local parishes (Balclutha, Milton & Lawrence).

We had a great start last night with the parents and some of the candidates for this year’s Sacramental Programmes.

If you are in the area tomorrow you might find the Saturday afternoon session interesting. I’ve learnt from many people within and without parish life about how to live fully in the midst of life’s ups and downs. So I’ll share a few thoughts tomorrow, and in the homily at Mass on Sunday, and I’ll be especially interested in picking up some tips from those who gather.

The Saturday session especially is open to all people of all faiths and none – anyone who is seeking greater maturity in life.

Could you put your sermon on this page for us? I would love to hear it and I’m sure many others would too.
    Thank you – P

. I am sure that most of the thousands of homilies and talks focussing on the Assumption will recall only on Mary’s yes to God, the Annunciation.  These homilies may be very good. But they miss the point of Mary assumed body and soul into heaven. So, why do we...
