what is theology ?

.

In recent weeks I’ve recorded a few podcasts. You may have heard the conversation following Pope Leo’s first Encyclical letter Magnificent Humanity. You can listen at this link.

I’ve been aware for some time that many people who struggle with many aspects of the Church are in fact experiencing a call to more profound engagement with God. They are experiencing a desire to do theology.

So, what is theology?

That was the stater question for the latest FFF podcast in which three theologians: Tracy McEwan, Merv Duffy and Rocio Figueroa join me in a 45 minute conversation.

  2. Thank you! I had long thought I was in some way ‘deficient’ in my relationship and understanding of God. Also, perhaps almost heretical.
So good and affirming to know ‘real theologians’ are saying things I had only secretly thought to myself.
I can now rest more peacefully in God’s love.

  3. Really enjoyed this conversation as it made me feel that anyone who tries to have a conversation with God is a theologian ! Looking forward to hearing more about this in the future
