A number of times in recent years I have had the joy of taking part in the annual Rimini Meeting – for Friendship Among Peoples.

This week-long gathering on the Adriatic Coast has for more than forty years been attracting crowds of people seeking greater maturity of Christian faith.

In recent years numbers across the week have averaged three quarters of a million people and the average age is low with most aged between 20 & 40.

Yesterday Pope Leo spent time at the meeting and his words to the gathering were inspiring,

I found it especially helpful to set 25 minutes to do nothing but listen, engaging my desire for real food and a work-out for every bit of my intelligence to really hear and digest his words.

My method is giving a profound reward. I have now listened three times and each time the gift grows.
