cannot live without

Jul 31, 2014

More for the feast of St. Ignatius today, this time a great page on his Consciousness Examen from Bosco Peters at www.liturgy.co.nz.  Ignatius made it clear that there is one thing that the daily life of every Christian cannot be without, and that regular examination of consciousness…

  1. There is such blessing in reflection at the end of the day. Where did I see Jesus in this day?
When did I fail to see him? What experience was new? What was repetition? What came from love? What came from fear? What did God teach me today? And finally, there is thanks for all that has happened, however I have judged it, for everything has brought a lesson to be learned.
