Happy Easter on this second day of the Octave of Easter.

At one of our Lenten evening sessions I asked the question, “how many Easter Sundays are there in ten years”? Naturally most people responded “ten”. But there are really eighty! This is because every day of the Easter Octave (from Easter Sunday to the following Sunday) is celebrated as Easter Sunday.

This is the last daily email that will arrive in your inbox if you signed up to receive the Food For Faith Lenten reflections.  It has been a pleasure and privilege for Jason McTague (who oversees all technical aspects of the Food For Faith project) and I to bring you these reflections. There have been times when in the midst of a technical difficulty we have been on the phone at 11.00pm then again before 7.00 the next morning sorting an issue so that you receive the morning email on time.

While the daily email part of the project is now complete, there will continue to be regular (3-4 times a week) updates on the www.foodforfaith.org.nz page. Thank you also to those who share this link with others.  Many choose to receive notice of a page update via the Food For Faith Facebook or Twitter pages.
