Most of us, much of the time, feel a distance between ourselves and God. It is commonly understood that the task of the human is to climb to to God, to ascend to heaven. What we forget is that God has made the journey to us, and is to be found in the circumstances of daily life. In the sacraments of the Church, God continues to bridge any distance we might feel…
