a new horizon

Oct 21, 2017

It’s Mission Sunday this weekend and Pope Francis’ 2017 Mission Sunday letter is inspiring. At one point he quotes Pope Benedict’s reminder that  “being Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a Person, which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction.”

Take a look around the New Zealand Mission Sunday website, noting the videos and the donation page with invitation to support the work of MissioNZ.
