The video punch-line is that once each year I ask for your financial support in order to continue our current Food For Faith mission and to enable FFF to develop new initiatives.
On Saturday the FFF Trustees gathered for our annual in-person meeting in Auckland, a day of reflection, strategic planning, and faith-centred and inspiring conversations.
I’m grateful to Kate Kearins, Chris Fogarty, James van Schie, Catherine Fyfe and Catherine Gibbs the FFF Trustees. We had a great day together. full of inspiring plans for the FFF mission.
We meet online each month, but it’s not the same. It was very good for us to be together on Saturday.
In our meeting I outlined my own hopes for the year, suggesting that our FFF readers have control over our outreach by providing the financial support. In other words God is providing through FFF readers.
In short, it costs $1,000 per week, $50,000 each year to operate the FFF mission.
In the past week donations have ensured that we will be ok for the next month or two. My next appeal for financial support will be in twelve months so it is now my intention to operate within a smaller budget until then, unless further support is given.
Thank you to those who have already responded with donations. Some giving an annual contribution, and others making a commitment to a monthly donation.
You might also consider remembering FFF in your Will.
Because FFF has been established as a Charitable Trust your donations are receipted and usual tax benefits are available.
I am grateful for your generosity, and all Food For Faith supporters and followers are in my prayer every day.
