C.S. Lewis audio

Nov 22, 2013

It is fifty years today since C.S. Lewis died. There is only one surviving recording of his voice. During the Second World War, the BBC sought out Lewis to provide a series of encouraging talks to be broadcast weekly. Later these were transcribed and collated to form the book “Mere Christianity.” The New Men is the last episode in Beyond Personality, the third series. It was broadcast on BBC radio on 21st March 1944.
