pope’s iphone vid

Feb 22, 2014

This is a remarkable video clip. Bishop Tony Palmer is an Anglican Evangelical Bishop, who (after spending a morning with Pope Francis), brings an iphone video greeting from Pope Francis to a conference of Pentecostal Pastors.

The clip here is the complete piece with Tony Palmer’s introduction leading into the greeting and encouragement from Pope Francis.

We hear Pope Francis speaking English – for just long enough to tell us that he can’t speak English, before he goes on to give the powerful message of Christian unity (beginning at 31min 40 secs). The pope introduces his message explaining that he is not speaking English, but that he is also not really speaking Italian. Instead he is speaking “the language of the heart.”
