these three days

Apr 13, 2017

This Holy Triduum beginning with this evening’s Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper is at the heart of our Christian faith, and therefore at the centre of our human existence.

So often we struggle to make sense of the joys, griefs, hopes and anxieties of every day, and in our confusion we grasp at anything that seems to offer a hope of meaning.

The good news is that if we understand these three days in the life of Jesus, the Last Supper, his suffering, his death and his resurrection, we find the meaning of our own lives…
