The annual MEETING at Rimini in Italy is an extraordinary event. Each year since 1979 well over half a million people gather for a week of friendship, aware that they are seeking much more than can ever be delivered by a secular world-view. Christ is at the heart of the event, and the mystery and grace of God abounds in every encounter.

Each day thousands gather to hear people reflect on their personal encounter with the mystery of God. The days are filled with exhibitions, lectures, food and drink, woven together with inspiring conversations with friends and strangers who quickly become friends.

For the lectures several thousand people fill halls to hear robust speeches and dialogues covering every aspect of human existence.

Too often religion is presented as the answer to questions that no-one is asking. At The Meeting faith is presented as the adequate response to human existence.
